When Kristin searched and couldn’t find Raven anywhere in their house, she got scared. She searched him in the living room, in the kitchen, as well as Raven’s favorite spots but he was nowhere. She was wondered if she left the door open or she forgot to bring the dog inside. She checked the backyard and confirmed that her dog is not outside either.

When Kristin was busy searching for the dog, her daughter was sleeping. She didn’t want to disturb her daughter, so she didn’t open the door. But after she looked for every possible area where Raven could’ve been hiding from, it was only Addison’s room left to check.

Kristin’s heart was melted after seeing this moment so she recorded a video of them and shared it later on Facebook. She wrote the story with the video and her message that reads: “That moment you can’t find your dog, and you even go outside looking for him… Only to walk in the house and find him snuggled up in bed next to your toddler.”

She continued to share that she rescued Raven when he was just a puppy. She explained, “People that say ‘money can’t buy happiness’ have never paid an adoption fee… 10 years ago, I left a rescue with this little guy, and I often wonder… who rescued who? I gave him home but he gave me so, so much more.”
