A giant dog was caught on camera running and jumping excitedly after seeing his soldier brother for the first time in months.

While 18-month-old Jackson the Bullmastiff might look scary, he is a true sweetheart on the inside. As his owners admitted, he is a gentle and loving soul that missed his brother, 19-year-old Jason Floyd, terribly while he was away for Army Basic Training.

Following almost three months apart, Jackson was in for a surprise as Jason’s mother told him someone was waiting for him on the porch.

After opening the door, the 160-pound dog ran outside and jumped onto Jason’s lap before kissing him all over his face. Despite his size, Jackson is clearly still just a small pup on the inside.

As Jason finally managed to break free from the large pooch, he instantly got down on the floor in an attempt to get even more hugs from his brother.

The sweet reunion was caught on camera by Lisa Floyd, Jason’s mom, who admitted placing Jason’s T-shirts on Jackson’s pillows while her son was gone because the dog missed him terribly.

Speaking of sweet dogs, another furry buddy, Luna the pit bull, went viral after whining out loud while watching the scene where Mufasa passes away in The Lion King.

Luna watched the heartbreaking movie together with her owners, Hannah Huddleston and Josh Myers. While the couple admitted everything went normal up to the tragic scene, Luna completely changed her attitude after Mufasa, the father of Simba, fell to his death.

As Simba wailed and attempted to revive his dead father in the movie, Luna was seen changing positions nervously while whining out loud.
