We all know what it’s like to wait in anticipation.

Perhaps a loved one you haven’t seen in years is coming to town and their plane is about to touch down. Or maybe it’s the last 30 minutes before you clock out of work and head into your month-long vacation. Either way, the wait is almost unbearable and you just want to get on with it already.

Watch this dog get a little too excited!

Gamora the Great Dane knows how you feel because whenever she and her owner are about to go out for a walk, she starts hopping like a bunny and it’s adorably hilarious. We can almost imagine what’s going through Gamora’s mind as her owner takes a video for all of us to see. She’s probably saying, “Come on, get on with it already!”

Great Danes are known for their boundless energy and all of that energy needs an outlet. Otherwise, they may spend all that energy inside the house wrecking furniture and causing general havoc. Not out of malice, of course. It’s just the way they are and you need to know how to channel all that enthusiasm.

In truth, all living creatures need some sort of exercise because our bodies are made to move. Walking is one of the best forms of exercise because it is a low-impact and low-intensity activity that still works all the right muscles and burns calories (of course, walking doesn’t negate the effects of a bad diet).

Walking is also a great way to relax and calm the mind. If you’re feeling anxious or stressed out, a leisurely walk around the park is usually a good way to settle your emotions. The sight of all that greenery and seeing things other than the four corners of your home can get your mind working in a different direction from the one you were on. This is why it’s great both for relaxing and for generating creativity.

Dogs can also benefit from this activity physically and mentally and it helps when they also see other dogs that they can play with. Just make sure to keep your dog on a leash because you don’t want to spend the next hour or two chasing down your dog who took a fancy to a squirrel or another dog!

As for Gamora, there is just no stopping this adorable pooch from enjoying a beautiful stroll outside.
