A dog named Emu has had a very difficult life.
He was taken to a vet to be put to sleep but fortunately, the vet knew that he still had so much life left.
Instead of euthanizing the old dog, the vet asked if the pooch could come to Sidewalk Specials’ Adoption Day Event, where Emu found a foster to live with.
During his stay with his foster, Vet Point also took him in to treat his mental and physical condition. The pooch was nervous at first but when he realized that those people wanted to help him, he started to come out of his shell.
Despite having a rough life, Emu was sweet and friendly. He just wanted to be loved and taken care of. Even though adopting an older dog is not easy especially when not in the best condition like him, his foster didn’t give up.
Sidewalk Specials’ Adoption Day helped him find his adoptive family and they showed him with love, care, and affection, making him happy and safe.
Emu had a new name – Nutzie – and he has a new sibling named Sahara. The two are now completely inseparable!
Nutzie is now a healthy and happy doggo with a family who will always love and take care of him. Thanks to the vet who believed in him, he got another chance to be happy.
Every doggo like Nutzie deserves a second chance at life. Please adopt and not shop!
