0001pt">Bobbi McCaughey and her husband Kenny were warned by doctors 22 years ago that multiple pregnancies are a risky thing and that the kids will not survive due to several risks involved in the pregnancy.
But the couple chose not to hear to the doctors and go with their instincts. Bobbi McCaughey was pregnant with 7 kids, yes she had Septuplets and even though the doctors told them to abort, they kept the babies.
Fast forward to 22 years and the kids are all grown up and 22 years old now.
Here is a little bit from Kenny and Bobbi’s life of 22 years while the septuplets were growing up.
Kenny and Bobbi already had a daughter Mikayla, but they wanted to have one more child.
The doctors told them that they are having multiple pregnancies and Bobbi had made her mind to have 2 more kids but it turned out a lot different.
When Bobbi went for the ultrasound, she was left spellbound and could not utter a word except for “7” to Kenny.
The pregnancy was a risky one. There are 4 boys and three girls. Surprisingly they were born 9 weeks earlier and they all survived even after the doctors weren’t sure it will happen.
The kids needed 42 food bottles every day and 52 diapers. For a long time, the family had a lot of attention from the media that helped them a lot.
People would occasionally volunteer to help with kids. Someone would donate them stuff, they even received a bigger house for the kids to grow up in.
Alexis May, Bobbi, Natalie Sue, Joel Steven, Nathan Roy, Kelsey Ann, and Brandon James are all grown up now and have headed to different directions in life. One of them is even planning to get married real soon.
Kenny and Bobbi did not need the house anymore so they moved into a smaller place giving the house away to an NGO.
