DNA Testing Showed that roughly 30% of Immigrant Families that Claimed for Asylum Were Not Blood Related


An Immigration and Customs Enforcement department conducted a test of DNA of the immigrant families and the results found that 1/3 of the families were not related by blood.

Yes, the people and the kids they claimed to be their own were not related by blood. No, the families had no scenario of step-parents or adoption as they clearly stated that the kids are their own but the reports revealed the truth.

Immigrant family asylums are strictly made for families, and people who do not have a family or kids are not allowed to take shelter in them.

ICE conducted the campaign for several days in the month of June in McAllen and El Paso of Texas. This is where the results came out as unexpected.

An officer of the department said “It was not the case of foster, adoptive or step parenthood but they were misinterpreted as families. They were not related by blood.”

It is not yet clear that all the families in the pilot were tested or not because even after requesting the spokesperson to give some answer or comment on the same, no comment or feed came out. It is unsure if the tests were only conducted on the families with a red alert or if they were all tested.

Since Trump’s administration has covered the pleading of family separations to be avoided, the families arriving at immigrant centers have rapidly gone very high.

According to the present law, illegal immigrants from Central America, who are arriving from the border with the kids are allowed to claim the asylum. In the same, they will also be considered for no detention and can escape long and lengthy procedures.

Because of the same, the border guards report that the number of illegal immigrants has raised to 535,000 in this year alone, and there are no visible chances of it getting any better.
