Disney+ Received 10 Million Subscribers On The Day of Its Launch


For a very long while the world had been waiting for Disney’s streaming service to come out and on Tuesday it finally did.

On Tuesday Disney released its very first and only streaming service called Disney+ and just in one day, the streaming service had 10 million subscribers which are a massive number.

The launch of Disney+ is going to cause a great impact on the top streaming services like Netflix as the market is going to be divided now between the two giants.

It is said that Netflix has about 60 million subscribers alone in the USA and if the numbers are taken from a world view, it is 158 million.

Yes, Disney+ has to compete with Netflix that has a huge subscriber base to get at the first position but with a major leap right at the start, it may come true.

Also, as the streaming service was launched on Tuesday, the company Disney Studios even saw a rise in the price of their stocks by 10% which was a great win too. The shares reached a price of $148.72.

Disney+ is going to have a mixed collection of Star Wars and marvels as well as all the Disney movies that have been ever come out.

Although we are not sure if all the classic tales and the other Disney movies are going to be there on the app at the same time or not but it is going to come out one day or the other.

In April the company had announced their plans as the speaker said that they have the right plans of reaching 60 to 90 million just by 2024.

The company is offering a great deal as you can have the streaming service for $7 a month and $70 for a year and you can even have 7 days of the free trial before you start paying.
