Frozen fans have one more reason to celebrate as Disney released breathtaking images of the eagerly-awaited Frozen Land based on the adventures of Anna and Elsa.
The Arendelle-themed attraction, which will open in Disneyland Paris, will have a new ride, shops, restaurants, as well as a meet-and-greet with Frozen’s beloved characters.
A huge 7.5-acre lake will be at the center of the attraction, mirroring Arendelle’s fjord in the Frozen films.
Performances and water-based shows will be held on the lake. It will be a stunning spectacle for guests with a 360-degree view of the action.
Elsa’s incredible ice palace, nestled in an icy mountain range, can be seen from the lake.
For the meet-and-greet, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and other famous characters will be there for fans.
There will also be a Frozen Ever After boat ride attraction where guests can undertake a voyage through the kingdom of Arendelle. The Epcot at Disney World in the Norway Pavilion currently operates the boat ride.
Two shops will offer merchandise and souvenirs and there will be a restaurant as well but there are no details about what will be offered on the menu.
The attraction is set to open in 2023 but guests will be able to enjoy a Frozen Celebration “EATertainment” currently on-going in restaurants throughout Disneyland Paris.
In the meantime, an Austrian village thought to have inspired Frozen claims Instagram has destroyed it because of the overwhelming number of tourists deluging the village.
But now fans have this to look forward to in few years! Well, waiting 3 years is quite a long time! But probably well worth it!
