Blogger Praised For Hitting Back At Cruel Online Trolls


In the world today, we appreciate body positivity and believe in the strength of heart, soul, and achievements rather than judging a person from their looks and calling them ugly.

No person living in this world is ugly except the ones who believe it is ok to call people ugly and to make fun of their disabilities.

A disabled blogger was going through the same when she decided to show the trolls that they do not have the power to take her down or to make her believe she is ugly.

Melissa Blake is a 38 years old writer and blogger who lives in Illinois.

Melissa is disabled as she suffers from Freeman-Sheldon Syndrome and by far has gone through 26 surgeries. She loves sharing pictures on her Twitter account but says that there are tons of people, mostly men, who abuse her online, call her ugly and says she should not post her pictures anymore.

She said that once when she had posted a selfie, a man commented that she looks like a blobfish. Another time there was yet another man who said that she was so ugly that she should be banned from posting her pictures online.

Recently she shared the bullying and trolls she had received all this while and received a lot of support.

She then posted 3 selfies and people appreciated her in the best way possible by calling her brave and by saying that these pictures are going to take the trolls down.

One user commented that she is beautiful and the trolls are nothing but a burden on society.

Another commented that trolls do not have any position in the society and they should rot in hell.

Yet another one commented “You are beautiful and no one should let you down. Stay strong woman.”
