A heartbreaking and desperate search has begun for a missing four-year-old girl who suddenly went missing from a campsite located near Carnarvon in Western Australia.
Authorities claim that the innocent child was last seen by her parents in a pink-toned night suit on Saturday and now they’re asking for all the help that they can get to locate their missing daughter.
Little Cleo is just four years old and her family says that they were with her till 1:30 am in the night. But when they woke up in the morning, they were struck with immense shock and disbelief after they realized she went missing.
Authorities claim that a detailed investigation into the case began after her family lodged a complaint with the police about her sudden and bizarre disappearance. Moreover, they also went on to reveal how the entire family was on a camping trip near Carnarvon in Western Australia.
Now, police officers, SES crews, and even locals are being called in to participate in the desperate search as the family hope and prays for positive news as soon as possible.
Little Cleo Smith suddenly disappeared from her family’s tent at about 6 am, and that’s when they woke up to see that she was no longer in her bed at the respective campsite. The exact location of the campsite was identified by authorities as Macleod, which is around 50 kilometers to the north of Carnarvon.
The family heartbreakingly released images of their missing child as they begged and pleaded with authorities to bring about answers to the mysterious case. “Her sleeping suit was bright pink in color with pink and blue flowers and butterflies all around,” they went on to explain.
As the frantic search continues, the case is being called ‘very unusual’ as many continue to take part and search for relevant clues in regards to the child’s mysterious disappearance.
