Herds Of Deer Spotted Taking Over Areas Of Metropolis Amid Coronavirus Lockdown

Herds of deer have been spotted in several areas of London amid coronavirus lockdown as people are forced to stay indoors and traffic has been brought to a near-stop.

While we’ve previously seen satellite images showing how the air pollution has cleared in major cities following a lockdown, we now confirm that nature has a habit of taking back what’s hers with photos of deer spotted in a neighborhood in east London.

With no one to stop them or scare them away, the deer are believed to have walked into Harold Hill from a nearby park.

While the animals, that have lived in the region for over one thousand years, have previously been spotted in the area, the locals believe they are now present more than ever due to reduced human activity.

As seen in photos, herds of deer have taken over the local lawns and estates, whereas some people have decided to approach and feed them.

In some areas, wild goats have also made residential areas their new home.

“I came across them just lying around,” 50-year-old inspector Dean Zetter said of the herd of deer he spotted while working.

“Residents, some with their dogs, just left them alone, and the dogs didn’t bark or startle them. It was a beautiful start to the day.

“This was the first time I had seen them, but seen them twice now. Apparently they are quite common – but there were around fifteen to twenty. They just continued lying there chewing the grass. I think it’s because it’s quieter.”
