Deer Taking Over A Deserted Street Stay Six Feet Apart From Each Other


Animals have reclaimed towns and streets amid coronavirus lockdown, and even the deer try their best to stay six feet apart!

The incredible moment was caught on a live cam and shared to Facebook. The viral photo shows the animals adhering to social distancing rules as they explore the street by The Riverside guest house in Boscastle, Cornwall.

“Eagle-eyed webcam viewers would have seen that the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere of Boscastle has enticed out some shy residents outside of The Riverside this evening,” the Riverside wrote on Facebook.

“It is exceptional that during these times they too are adhering to the Government advice of social distancing and keeping at least two metres apart.”

Facebook users were quick to react to the amusing photo, with one writing: “You wouldn’t have imagined this a few weeks ago.”

Another wrote: “They are just returning to what was their natural habitat before man came along building roads and houses. Similar in Canada, Elks rummage through gardens during the night and have to be ushered back to the wild by wardens in the morning, and as 1 warden said ‘it is a shame, would much rather we could co-exist.’”
