Kyrsten and her fiancé Chris Rowe met in Washington, DC., back in 2014. According to their wedding website: “Chris was blown away by her friendliness, wit, and sarcasm.”
They got engaged a few years later and started planning their dream wedding. They decided to have a formal reception at the Icona Gold Inn Ballroom.
They got married and everyone was more than happy and had a great time at their wedding.
But, that was not the end. Kyrsten’s father had a surprise for his daughter which totally shocked her.
During the wedding reception, Kyrsten’s father asked his daughter: “Oh, by the way, Kyrsten, what is your favorite movie?”
She responded: The Little Mermaid. And, her father left the room.
Everyone was clueless what’s going on. Then, he came back with Jodi Benson and said: “Guess who I found hanging out by the sea,”
She couldn’t believe her eyes as she said: “Are you kidding me?”
Jodi, who is an actress and singer and known for her role as Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, started singing “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid movie.
“The fact that [The Little Mermaid] has had such longevity is amazing,” Jodi told USA Today.
The video went viral since it was posted online and everybody is just loving the bride’s reaction. Her dad is truly amazing.
