An 18-year-old girl, who works at Woolworths in Queensland, Australia, broke down in tears after panic buyers abused her during her shift.
Jordyn’s mother Debara Nydrle shared a heartbreaking picture of her daughter on Facebook, slamming the panic buyers who are abusing and shouting at her for the things she has no control over.
Jordyn can be seen crying in the photo her mother posted on Facebook. The mother told that panic buyers are breaking and hurting her daughter multiple times a day in this difficult time.
She branded the abusing and shouting “un-Australian” and said her daughter has no control over things she is being abused for.
The mother wrote with the heartbreaking picture: “Thank you to all the a**holes who think its okay to abuse Woolies staff to the point where you break them, daily, multiple times a day.”
“Abusing them for things that they do not control… How freaking Un Australian.”
Amid coronavirus outbreak, people are stockpiling and clearing the shelves at the supermarkets. Due to which some are struggling to find basic items.
A lot of incidents have been reported where panic buyers abused or shouted at the supermarket staff.
Last week, another Australian Woolworths worker was caught on camera crying during her shift.
A customer captured the heartbreaking picture and shared on Facebook with the caption: “These poor workers are being brought to tears because of the way people are treating them, blaming them and abusing them for something they have no control of.”
The customer said they’re humans just like the rest of us and trying hard to make a living in a difficult time like this.
The customer went on to say that if things are out of stock, the workers at the supermarkets are not responsible for it.
They urged the shoppers to be kind to the staff as they might also be struggling in their lives.
