One devoted daughter after knowing that her father would die from cancer before she could even find her perfect match and get married decided to record an emotional wedding dance with her father.

Meredith Parnell came to know that her father, Lynn had cancer and he won’t survive for too long. She borrowed a wedding dress and arranged a wedding dance with her father. Sadly, her father died two days later but he had a pleasant memory to take with.

The year was 2003; Meredith was still single and was studying in the senior year of her college. The family came to know that Lynn had prostate cancer which he had to endure for more than a decade.

In 2015, seeing her father’s condition getting worse day by day, they were told by the doctors that there nothing much they could do and it would be better if they take Lynn home. The doctors had given weeks to live.

Meredith realized that she would have to get married without her father by her side. Then 32, Meredith took things in her own hands. There is nothing she could do to prevent the outcome but she could put a smile on her dying father’s face.

She borrowed a wedding gown from her friend and appeared through the entrance of her parent’s living room in a beautiful white dress.

Seeing Meredith like never before, her father was instantly reduced to tears. He struggled to elevate himself from the wheelchair but Meredith helped him.

In the video footage, the father-daughter duo squeezed each other tightly as they danced silently to ‘Daughters’ sung by John Mayers.

The best thing about this was that three years later when Meredith got married, the video was played at her wedding.
