A 24-year-old Daenerys Targaryen impersonator is winning the Internet after her pictures of impersonating the famous character from Game of Thrones went viral.

Roberta Pattaro, from Torino, Italy, shared her pictures of impersonating Daenerys Targaryen in April. The Internet users were left shocked by her uncanny resemblance to actress Emilia Clarke.
Roberta, a film student, says she never thought she would receive so much love and attention.
Roberta, who has been cosplaying for almost three years, says people stop her to take pictures and most of them are people in their 50s or 60s.
She says it feels great when someone appreciates her work as she has put a lot of hardwork into it.
She said: “This was just something I did to feel like Daenerys for a couple of days, and to have fun with my grandma who helped me with the costume.”
“Then I started getting attention at events, where people would stop me to take pictures, even on the lifts and the subway. The funny thing is most people who stop me are adults, there are even people over 50 or 60 years old who get very excited seeing me in my costume.”
Roberta says she chose this character because the character is similar to her. She is also strong and loyal just like Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.
She said: “I chose this character because she’s very similar to me, she’s a strong and loyal person, and despite last Sunday’s episode, she’s been one of the pillars of the show.”
“I was incredibly happy, it is great to see people supporting you and complimenting you for your work.”
