You may have come across a number of unique family feuds but we bet nothing beats this next ordeal that has so many people in absolute awe.
A son refused to change the ‘insulting’ message that was placed on his late father’s gravestone, only because his mother chose it. But now, his stubborn decision has resulted in his dad’s side of the family fuming with anger because they feel it’s probably one of the most insulting things they’ve ever come across.
When the dad died, it was his wife that chose a message that she felt fit him perfectly. And without thinking, she got the message etched onto the tombstone. But now, the decision certainly isn’t being welcomed after so many people laid eyes upon it, raising plenty of eyebrows across the board.
But what did the message exactly claims is a question on so many people’s minds and we’re included.
Well, the mother says that she found out about her husband’s affair and caught him red-handed. So, why not remember him for his deeds after his death? Wow, how’s that for a bold move, if we must say so ourselves. And that’s when she requested for the term ‘adulterer’ to be inscribed on his tombstone.
The mum arranged for the very unique and startling message, adding how she certainly doesn’t have any regrets and didn’t even waste a second thinking about what she was doing too.
Explaining the situation to an online platform of viewers on Reddit, the son spoke about the shocking incident and asked for advice because he certainly doesn’t want to change it but again, his dad’s side of the family find it unbelievably rude and toxic.
“Towards the end, my mother and father had the worst marriage. Everything that could go wrong did and it was just bad,” he recalled. And to put a cherry on all matters, the gravestone is turning into a family feud too!
