We have all pranked our friends and family members because, why not? It’s fun and helps create happy memories – as long as there’s no harm done.
But one dad decided to prank his partner by shaving their baby girl’s head!
Nope, no harm done. Joshua’s prank didn’t involve any tide pods either. But this left the mom, Jasmin, horrified and dismayed after she trusted him to just watch over their child just so she could get some sleep.
When Jasmin woke up from a much-needed sleep, she was shocked to find their girl with a shiny top!
Fortunately for us, they shared the hilarious moment on Twitter and it quickly went viral. The video was shared with the caption: “The one time I ask him to watch her so I can sleep in and…”
In the clip, the horrified Jasmin screams before breaking down in tears. Joshua clearly wets himself with laughter.
“That’s not funny!” Jasmin says in the video. “Why is she bald? Joshua, that’s not funny!”
But their baby Jazlyn doesn’t seem to care and can be seen very delighted.
The video has been viewed over 4 million times since it was shared on social media. But before people get too upset, Jasmin said that it is a Mexican custom to shave a baby’s head when they’re still young to help it grow ‘thicker and nicer.’
“My daughter’s father and I had agreed we were not going to do that until that day where I had asked him if he can watch her so I can sleep in a bit longer and he woke me up with that surprise,” Jasmin revealed.
“I was heartbroken because my baby went from a full head of hair to none at all, but as you can see she was not bothered one bit. Always such a happy baby.”
