When writing a resume, one usually strives to present the best features and skills that they have to offer.
Job hunters are always on the search for those that can stand out from the crowd for the right reasons.
One upset father from Redcar, North Yorkshire, however, took a different approach after deciding to write a brutal resume for his ‘lazy’ and ‘ignorant’ daughter named Lauren.
His brutal resume went viral due to the father exposing unconventional skills and personal qualities of his daughter which included: “lazy, late, reluctant, ignorant, rude, hate people, don’t do mornings, typical 16 year old, and couldn’t give a ****”
Besides her incredible skills, the girl, who lives in a $200,000 3-bedroom house, also has plenty of work experience including office assistant and gardener positions.
Amongst the office assistant duties and responsibilities, Lauren’s father listed “getting on my father’s ****, not listening, browsing Facebook, losing all documentation, giving out all clients information to fraudsters.”
The responsibilities and duties of her position as a gardener included “digging holes looking for gold, chopping colleagues’ toes off with a spade, ******* everything up, being messy, and, once again, couldn’t really give a ****.”
As for the references, the dad listed a probation officer ‘Ben Dover’ and added a line saying “don’t contact him, he doesn’t give a f*** either.”
After presenting his daughter with the brutal resume, 16-year-old Lauren, a GCSE student at Rye Hills School, found it to be a bunch of fun and even shared it on Tweeter.
“Remind me not to let my dad do my CV for me,” she captioned her post.
Her friends also found the unconventional resume hilarious. Some, however, have pointed out that it wasn’t the best idea to include the personal details as well.
“This is so funny giving out all clients information to fraudsters,” Abbi Stannard, Lauren’s friend, said. Another friend wrote: “I’m screaming.”
