For most of us, dogs are a part of the family; they treat them like a child who needs attention all the time.
For Meghan Specksgoor’s animal-loving family, their dog Chance is like a fifth child to them.
She knew that her family cared for their dog like if it was a human baby, but one incident made her realize that how much they love their dog.
Meghan lives in Virginia with her dog Chance who is a large shepherd mix. She says Chance is a happy go lucky dog who loves to make friends. But Chance being a spoiled dog bothers her the most. If you ask, she will blame her father for spoiling Chance, who supposedly acts like a grandpa to Chance.
Recently, Meghan came up with a trip to New York, but she was worried about who will look after Chance. Fortunately, her dad was over the moon when he got to know that he is the prime contender to watch over Chance.
To Meghan’s surprise, her dad not only watched Chance like other normal dogs like taking him outside to use the bathroom or feeding him 4-times a day. He didn’t limit his involvement with Chance formal and perfunctory.
Her dad made sure that Chance enjoyed his time with the family while she was away. And Chance really did have an awesome time with his grandpa. While Meghan was in New York City, she received text messages from her dad. Well, to be more precise, it was the messages from Chance sent by her dad!
Her dad sent her photos of him and Chance enjoying their days while she was away. One photo where Chance is lying in the backseat of his car is close captioned as Chance informing Meghan about the type of takeout he can have as they are starving.
Another photo that her dad sent her of Chance sitting on the top of the picnic table enjoying their day out in the park made her go into a fit of laughter.
Next message Meghan received from her dad on behalf of Chance was Chance notifying her about he and grandpa going to the nail salon to clip some nails. And the fact that if he behaved, grandpa would buy him some ice cream made her adore these two love of her life.
After witnessing this incident, Meghan pertinently pointed out that she needs to get her dad a grandchild stat.
