A man was found mutilated inside the cage of a 9 years old lion who he owned and kept in his home in eastern Czech republic.
The body of the man was found by his father who had gone to the back yard where the lion was and found him dead inside the cage. He also reported that the cage was closed from inside.
Michal Prasek had owned 2 lions that he had kept for breeding. He bought his lion in 2016 and bought the lioness last year with an objective of breeding them. This was drawing the concern of locals and his neighbors. For the same, cases were filed against him.
He was keeping the lions in self made cages and according to the government the cages were not authorized. So when the authority tried to intervene and reached his house, he denied their entry on his property.
No evidence of any kind of animal cruelty was found and thus the authorities were not able to take the lions with them or arrest Michal for the same.
Michal’s father who was the first one to see his body called the police. The police had to take the body out and there was no other option for them other then killing the lions who were in their separate cages and then take the body out.
Michal made it in the news highlights some time ago when a man peddling on his cycle down the street saw him walking down the street with the lioness with nothing but a lash around her neck that he held.
The authority had to dismiss the case saying it was nothing but a traffic accident.
