Pets are to be loved and to be taken care of.
They are young souls who are brought into a family to receive love and only love. They are the life of the eyes of the family.
So when a pet is taken away from its family who has just raised their baby with love receives hate and violence, it can break anyone’s heart into a million pieces.
We never wish it happens to anyone what happened to this little baby who was taken away from her family and was beaten by the kidnapper.
Shadow was a 17 weeks old black Labrador who was just brought in by her family 5 weeks ago. She was loved in the family.
She was taken care of by two kids who were 6 and 8 and they both were crazy about her. She was adored and the baby had never seen anything other than love in her little life.
When Callum Gerken abducted her, he treated her with the cruelest heart anyone could have.
He beat her up with a slipper and Shadow suffered from a broken jaw, laceration to her liver, and fracture in her ribs.
Callum not only just beat Shadow but also sent voice notes to Shadow’s owner saying “I have beaten the stupid dog from one corner of the room to another.”
Shadow’s owners were devastated to know this.
On April 3rd, police received a call about the happenings and on April 4th they had arrested the culprit.
The dog died after suffering from trauma and injuries.
Callum first accepted he was guilty but changed his plea to not guilty at the last moment. But it did not work out because of a protected animal died due to his threats and beating.
