UEFA Is ‘Not Happy’ And Could Fine Players For Removing Sponsor Items At Press Conferences

Portugal’s captain and leading striker in the world of football, Cristiano Ronaldo, showed the world how much he detests fizzy drinks by removing two bottles of coca-cola that were reportedly put in front of him during a press briefing for Euro 2020.

For those who may not be aware, the brand is actually a leading sponsor for the Euro tournament, being a part of the event for nearly 30 years now. However, that just wasn’t a good enough excuse to stop the star from removing the bottles, before he started his press briefing.

After angrily removing the bottles placed in front of him, he yelled in Portuguese, ‘Drink Water!’ and that was a loud and clear message showing his strive to promote healthy drinking.

As it is, Ronaldo is known to be a leading advocate for a healthy lifestyle and is clearly not a fan of fizzy drinks as well. The star repeatedly mentions in media interviews how much he hates seeing his son indulge in sugary drinks, and often gets super angry too.
