The latest trend will cost a few bills but it is definitely worth it. PubMed said there is proof that humans can reduce their stress levels by interacting with animals.

This may sound strange but the latest therapy falls in line with other recreational programs, such as cat yoga and goat yoga. It is difficult to do cow yoga, so the best option is to cuddle with them.

Mountain Horse Farm in New York has a program that offers the ‘Horse & Cow Experience’ where people can spend time with large barnyard animals.

Their program lets you pet, play or brush the animals. But if you are not in the mood to pet or play, you can cuddle with them.

Mountain Horse Farm’s website says: “Cows have a body temperature that is slightly higher than humans and their heart rate is lower than ours. Cuddling up with a cow, feeling that lower heart rate and higher body temperature, is very relaxing.”

Interacting with animals is one of the best ways to connect with nature and reduce stress. Mountain Horse Farms says on their website that cows and horses are sensitive animals that use body language to communicate.

“They will pick up on what’s going on inside and sense if you are happy, sad, feel lost, anxious or are excited, they will respond to that without judgment, ego or agenda,” the website says.

Hanging out with their animals can bring comfort, healing, mindfulness, and relaxation. It also helps build confidence and assertiveness.
