It’s normally the type of talk you would have in the privacy of your home but the interview was held as part of the promotion for the premiere of season 2 of 9 Months with Courteney Cox. The series streams through Facebook Watch and is about couples who faced their share of trials and triumphs during pregnancy or trying to get there in the first place.

Cox sat down with her 15-year-old daughter Coco and talked about her own road to motherhood. It was a sweet interview that saw mother and daughter sitting beside each other.

“I’m so uncomfortable it hurts,” the teen says while laughing before launching her interview.

“Describe your pregnancy journey with me in three words,” she asks Cox.

“Exciting, emotional, great,” the Friends alum, 55, says while smiling which elicits an “Aw” from her daughter.

The star then goes on to say that while she was pregnant she absolutely loved “cottage cheese and tomato” and as expected, Coco replies, “That’s disgusting.”

The teen then follows up by asking her mother the first word she thinks of when she hears the words “baby,” “pregnancy” and “mother.”

“Adorable,” “hormones” and “love,” she answers, respectively.

Coco chuckles as she mischievously asks: “Chandler?”

“Is that one really? Oh gosh,” Cox says, laughing.

Coco then caps off the interview by asking Cox how she would describe her as a child in one sentence.

“Absolutely adorable, curious, incredible sense of humor and quirky,” she responds.

Coco then hops onto Cox’s lap at the end of the clip, earning the not-so-baby-girl a hug from behind from an adoring mom.

The former Cougar Town star had shared the trailer for season 2 of her show earlier this month in an exclusive with PEOPLE.

“Infertility, illness, disability. This season on 9 Months, the stakes couldn’t be higher,” Cox said at the start of the 1-minute clip. “But something compels them forward: a life.”

Cox speaks from experience as she had “quite a few” miscarriages before finally conceiving Coco via in vitro fertilization (IVF) with ex-husband David Arquette.

“I get pregnant pretty easily, but I have a hard time keeping them,” she told PEOPLE in a 2003 interview while adding that after each miscarriage, she and Arquette would “bounce back pretty quickly.”
