The millionaire received six points on his driving license at his hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court, the Press Association reported.

The former Manchester United midfielder admitted using his mobile phone on November 21 while he was driving along Great Portland Street.

According to the PA, Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court was due to deal with the case the last month, however, it got postponed when the 43-year-old couldn’t attend the hearing.

A member of court staff said at the previous hearing: “The magistrates requested more information – either the circumstances in which it happened or they think they don’t have enough information about the charge to make an informed decision.”

The ex-England star has been previously criticized for seemingly avoiding punishment for motoring offenses in the past.

Last year in January, Beckham was reported for driving a loaned Bentley at 59mph in a 40mph area in London.

However, he didn’t face any action because the retired soccer player received a notice of intended prosecution (NIP) a day after the required 14-day time period.

At the time, Beckham enlisted the services of Nick Freeman – a famed lawyer commonly known as ‘Mr Loophole.’

The Notice of Intended Prosecution should have reached Bentley Motors Ltd by February 6 after it was dispatched on February 2, District Judge Barbara Barnes said.

But the notice arrived on February 7, one day after the statutory 14-day time period.

“What I find is the fact it did not arrive in the post room of Bentley Motors Ltd until 7 February and therefore was one day outside the legal limit,” the judge noted.

“The defendant in this case cannot be convicted.”

For his latest incident, the father-of-four has been sent another NIP, according to court staff.
