S. Supreme Court has allowed Kentucky’s ultrasound requirement law to go into effect and rejected a challenge to a 2017 pro-life law in Kentucky that required doctors to perform ultrasounds and play the sound of the baby’s heartbeat to women seeking an abortion.

Live Action founder and prominent pro-life advocate Lila Rose shared the news on her Twitter account that the Supreme Court has allowed Kentucky’s ultrasound requirement law to go into effect.

Lila Rose wrote on Twitter: “When women have the chance to see the humanity of their child & hear their heartbeat, many reject the violence of abortion. This is a great win for Kentucky & our nation.”

Pro-life advocates praised the Supreme Court for their decision as one replied to the tweet: ‘Wonderful! Even pro-choicers should be in favor of ultrasound because it provides more information, which empowers free choice.’

Another Twitter user replied: ‘This is honestly how I changed my mind 20 years ago. An internal ultrasound reflected my son’s heartbeat, loud and clear. I knew that second, I could not terminate. I was only 9 weeks along. He has been such an amazing kid!!! ❤️’

The third one replied: ‘This is amazing for Kentucky! Great job and thank you to everyone who fought for this law to come into place. Even just one life saved is worth it all’.
