In 2003, the audience at “Oprah Show” met a sweet, loving couple who had been married for 12 years and called themselves “the rock ‘n’ roll hair couple.

The strange thing about this lovely couple was that neither of them had a haircut for more than a decade.
Tim had been growing his hair for 17 years while Wendy had not cut hers for 11 years. So, it was no wonder when their names were submitted to Oprah for a makeover.
“I’m 39 years old and I think I probably look about 45 to 50,” said Wendy.
Tim, a bass guitarist in a local rock band, jokingly said, “I’m 43 years old, and I think I look somewhere between 50 to 60—on a good day.”
When Oprah decided to give the couple a makeover, neither of them had imagined about the dramatic effects such a seemingly small thing could have.
So, when they saw each other, they were finding it hard to believe how beautiful both of them looked. “Oh my God!” Tim said before quickly reaching out to embrace his wife.
Wearing a fitted, light-pink Dolce & Gabbana dress with lightened hair, Windy was looking just like a gorgeous model.
Tim, wearing a dapper Prada suit, was also looking extremely handsome – and decades younger – in his new haircut.
The audience, including the neighbors of the couple, clapped and cheered at their incredible transformation.
Sadly, the loving couple was not destined to live together for a long time and Tim passed away in 2008, 5 years after appearing on the show.
“He had a huge, huge funeral. The called it a ‘rock star’ funeral,” Windy recalled.
“We had him dressed in his Prada suit that he wore on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ and then I also had his leather jacket on top of that.”
Since then, she has been trying to cope with the death of her beloved and says she will always cherish the beautiful moments from their time on the show.
“The experience on ‘Oprah’ was almost like a wedding day,” she said. “We got married in Las Vegas, so it wasn’t your big, normal type of wedding. So, this was… probably as close as we would have gotten to a big wedding.
