A couple went out camping in the woods.
The husband just went away to park the car for 5 minutes and returned to find his wife and their dog gone, It has been 4 days since and there is no sign of his wife anywhere around.
60 years old Sheryl Powell and her husband Joe Powell has been married for 40 years and it was their anniversary. They decided to celebrate it doing what they love the most, camping.
The couple from California went out alone to their Huntington Beach home as they wished to go camping but within a few minutes, everything turned upside down.
Joe said “Five minutes ago, we were there together, I went away to park the car and she was gone. My dog Miley and Sheryl were both gone.
She is great at hiking and for the same reason, I was not really worried. I looked for her for almost an hour then I informed the authorities about the same and they instantly came to help.”
The incident took place on the 12th of July and since then the search groups have been looking for her.
Miley was found about 2.5 miles away from the spot Joe last saw both of them but there is still no sign of his wife.
The police department is involved too and they have been questioning her friends and Joe. Speaking on the same, Greg Powell, their son said “My parents have an amazing relationship. Even after so many years of their marriage, they are so much in love. My father can do nothing like this to my mother.”
Considering the same, the sheriffs have taken Joe out of the suspect list and are searching for different possibilities, one being abduction.
