A Couple Tied The Knot By Using ‘His’ And ‘Hers’ Themed Custom Items On Their Big Day

Getting precious stones for the big day is too mainstream so this couple, who run a pro-marijuana blog, decided to get stoned on their marriage instead.

Coral and her husband Mio did whatever they could to include weed in their marriage ceremony.

Just before saying their vows last October, Mio and Coral toked the specially crafted bongs they had custom-built for the occasion. The bongs were ‘his’ and ‘hers’ themed.

The innovative photos from the wedding were first shared by Coral on her Instagram.

In the photos, the bride can be seen in a traditional white dress and a matching veil while the groom is dressed in a gray suit.

“To have and to toke, forever and ever,” Coral captioned her wedding pictures.

The custom-made bongs were crafted by Marc Hochdörffer in California where marijuana is legal.

“I’m so thankful we celebrated our day exactly how we wanted to, including the RV where we got 10 minutes alone after the ceremony to smoke up before inviting our guests on board as well,” Coral continued in her Insta post.

“Mio was my best friend in kindergarten, my partner through the last few years of my blog, and now is my husband forever! Here’s to a lifetime of tokes together!”

Their wedding photographer Rachel Artime said the photos were not what you see every day.

“I’m really happy with the pictures. I love the smoke. It makes them look haunting and romantic in a weird way,” the 24-year-old told Metro.

“I’ve never had to photograph anything like this before. This is the most unconventional and non-traditional thing to happen at a wedding [I’ve been to],” she continued.

“Every wedding I’ve done is the most normal thing ever, so this is quite the experience to be photographing people literally smoking a blunt at their wedding.

“It was like nothing I’d ever seen before.”

After giving away marijuana as wedding presents to the guests, the couple went to Costa Rica for their honeymoon, where the supreme court has recently legalized possession and cultivation of small amounts of marijuana.
