A woman named Anastasia Gulyaihina has a large family with 14 wonderful kids, but she only gave birth to one of the kids.
She and her husband who are both in their 40’s shared their sweet story of their large foster family.
“I and my husband, we were just 19 years old when we thought of adopting a child for the first time.”
“We met a kid from a disturbed family and we really wanted to help. Ever since then, the idea of adopting a child never left us.”
“After thinking about it a lot, we decided we wanted to have a kid of our own first. After our child is old enough to understand things, we would adopt 2 or 3 kids from an orphanage.”
“We tried but I could not conceive. So we made a few changes to the plan and collected all the documents we would need.”
“Over the years we took so many kids in our family. The last child we had was in 2017. Now we have 14 kids in total. Lev is our own son along with 13 other foster kids.
Sonya, Slava, Tanya, Ruslan, Karina, Emma, Katya, Kolya, Nikita, Masha, Pasha, Timofey, and Yan are our 13 other kids. But we are not limiting ourselves to 14 only.”
“6 of our kids are already grown up and have their own families now. We keep meeting them regularly.
2 of my kids are in college and come home on the weekends, so at home, we just have the rest of 6.
It does not feel like a lot. We play, laugh, cry and sometimes have a conflict like any other family, but it soon comes back to normal.”
That’s one big family connected with love by their parents!
