Couple Who Pulled Guns On Mother With Kids Have Been Charged


The Michigan couple who pulled guns on a mother with two kids have been charged with felony assault after their arrest following the confrontation that took place in front of the Orion Township Chipotle.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when Jillian and Eric Wuestenberg got into a row with a mother and her kids as they were leaving the parking lot at Chipotle.

According to the reports, the couple and the family called cops on each other after a heated argument that started after they bumped into one another.

In the video taken during the escalation, the family is seen confronting Jillian, who is pregnant, and demanding an apology from her for allegedly bumping into them.

After a while, Eric enters the picture and opens the car door for his wife before exchanging some words with the mother who accuses him of being racist and encourages him to “do something.”

As the man enters his car and attempts to drive away from the parking lot, the family tries to block the vehicle. “You gonna f***ing hit me,” the mother shouts.

The two groups then start arguing again with Jillian bursting out of the car and pulling a gun on the family while warning them to back off. Before taking off, Jillian was joined by Eric who also pulled out his gun.

While the viral video doesn’t show the moment the groups started arguing, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard confirmed that the confrontation began as they bumped into one another.

“The one person said they didn’t realize they had bumped the person with the food bag and the other person felt they needed to get an apology and it escalated from there,” Bouchard said during a news conference.

According to the sheriff’s office, the couple were threatened by the family and feared for their lives during the confrontation. Meanwhile, the family insisted they were being threatened with guns.

Following the incident, the couple have been charged with felony assault by Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper and given a $50,000 bond each. The bond conditions also specified that the couple is not allowed to leave the state and have to surrender their guns.

In addition, Eric Wuestenberg, who worked at Oakland University, has been fired from his job with the spokesperson calling his behavior “unacceptable.”
