They were not immediately attracted to each other but love managed to find its way.

“He kind of just kept pursuing!” Snodsmith said to BuzzFeed News.

“I chased her for a bit,” Hewett joked.

The two have been dating for more than three years when Hewett popped the question in August. They set their wedding date for next year and now they are starting to plan their big day.

And like many other couples out there, they also wanted to have some nice engagement photos that they can share with their loved ones.

Together with Chandler Lefever, their photographer friend, they went to Greene Valley Forest Preserve in Illinois.

Before their shoot, Lefever told the couple to prepare some ideas, so the future bride checked for some inspiration on Pinterest. That’s where she found an adorable photo of a couple celebrating with champagne.

“We just thought it was fun. It kinda matches us,” Snodsmith expressed. “We just like to have fun.”

After taking some introductory photos, the couple placed down a blanket, opened a bottle of champagne, and the future groom poured it into Snodsmith’s mouth.

However, their photographer couldn’t just get the right angle and they had to do the scene again.

“Well, we found the right angle, but I didn’t find the right angle with the bottle,” Hewett said. “I was super hesitant the whole way and then it started to just dribble out the end. So I kind of over-adjusted.”

The result may not be very romantic but it made rounds on social media!

“We were dying laughing,” Snodsmith said. “Our photographer fell on his butt because he was laughing so hard. He managed to still snap pictures of us!”

Hewett added: “I was prepared to be in the dog house.”

He shared the photo on Twitter where it gained thousands of likes and retweets. “I’m literally dying man. But this lowkey sums up y’all fun relationship. Some might say #RelationshipGoals … SOME…” one commented.
