A Couple Ditched Takeouts for Healthy Food and Lost 220 LBS Together

A couple who started working out together was able to shed off 220 lbs combined in just one year. They chose to ditch Netflix time and takeout food for workouts and healthy food habits.

30 years old Jasmine Parent, had grown to a massive 295lbs after her father died as she chose food as a coping technique.

At the same time, her fiancé had grown to 333lbs till last years before they started to losing regime and he came down to 235lbs.

Jasmine who has lost 125lbs in a year had to undergo a skin removal surgery to take out the extra skin left on her body after she got back to a healthy 170lbs.

The couple that is living together said that they did it because they wanted to be an inspiration for their two daughters.

Jasmine said “we had no clue we will be able to lose so much weight. Our eating habits were supremely spoiled. We always ate out and all our money was literally going into the food. We never prepared food at home and depended on take out for everything.

This is when we realized what is happening and what needs to be done. We decided to change our food habits and stopped eating out completely. And within a year, we now have such a major change in our bodies.”

“We met through Instagram and we were both very heavy when we met.

I lost my father and started eating as a coping technique. I started gaining weight then. I had no energy left to talk to my daughter and to be with them. So we decided to ditch it for once and for all to gain back our lives that we were seriously missing out on.”
