Brave Couple Chased Down Kidnapper Of 11-Year-Old Girl Speeding At 100Mph To Keep Up With The Abductor


This is an incredible moment a brave couple drove 100mph to chase down the kidnapper of 11-year-old Charlotte Moccia, leading the arrest of the abductor.

“They’re trying to lose me,” Amanda Disley can be heard on the phone talking to a 911 dispatcher. “He’s blowing through red lights,” she added as she tried not to lose the vehicle containing the little girl.

24-year-old Miguel Rodriguez forced Charlotte into a blue Honda Civic near the corner of Amherst and Princeton streets “not long after she got off her school bus” in Springfield, according to police.

Footage showed the young girl on Lafayette street as she made her way home from school.

Disley shared the video of the chase online and wrote: “Sorry for dramaticness but when I saw the person in the back seat being pushed down all we could think about is her and the danger she was in.

“Wasn’t even sure if it was the right car just the gut feeling my husband and i had by the rims and the funny movements in the car,” Disley added.

In the clip, she can be heard telling the dispatcher: “They’re turning down streets trying to avoid me. They’re trying to lose me, they’re trying to ditch me!”

Disley’s husband was driving the car and gave street names.

“There’s a kidnapper!” they screamed. “A Puerto Rican dude, it’s him, it’s him!”

The husband was determined not to lose sight of the blue vehicle. “That’s that f***ing car, I know it is!” the husband yelled.

Springfield Police had released photos of the vehicle the girl was believed to be taken in – a 2001 to 2005 model with two doors, a moonroof, no front plate, distinctive after-market rims, and dark tinted windows.

Massachusetts State Police caught the kidnappers as over a dozen police officers responded. “Troopers flooded the area after a motorist called 911 to report seeing the car. The car was stopped in a work zone and Charlotte was recovered,” said State Police, adding Charlotte was “safe and sound.”

24-year-old Rodriguez was arrested, thanks to the incredible couple. They are heroes!
