The mastermind behind the brutal 9/11 massacre, Osama’s son and Al Qaeda heir, Hamza Bin Laden was killed in a counter-terrorism operation conducted by the US, confirmed by Donald Trump.
On Sunday morning, the US President released a statement from the White House that the Al Qaeda member was dead.
The intelligence officials have earlier said in July that the junior Bin Laden was killed two years back in operation involving the United States.
Secretary of Defense, Mark esper had confirmed the death last month stating that the Bin Laden was dead, but government officials and the President had not released a public confirmation.
Now, the President has come forward with his statement stating that the high ranking Al Qaeda heir is dead in operation held in Afghanistan/ Pakistan region.
Trump has mentioned in his statement that this loss of Al Qaeda heir will not only disrupt their confidence but also deprive them of the importance of leadership skills to plan a brutal massacre against humankind.
Further, the statement had mentioned that Hamza Bin Laden was the planning and dealing with multiple terrorist groups.
Hamza was dead within the past two years, but the confirmation was never officially sent out publically before July.
According to the sources, the US government had a significant role in the death of the Al Qaeda member, but it was not clear what the role was.
The State Department also announced a bounty of USD 1 million for information regarding Hamza Bin Laden’s capture.
Hamza was merely 30 years old and was among the 23 other children of Osama had with 5 five women.
A report published last year mentioned that Hamza Bin Laden had emerged as a leader of Al Qaeda and was keen to take up the role of Al Qaeda group after his father.
