Ebola czar, Obama’s administration has issued a serious warning that Covid-19 cases are prepared to explode in America, as the U.
S.A. reports more new cases of coronavirus each day than China did during the peak period of the outbreak in that country.
4940 new cases or Covid-19 were reported all over the country on Thursday. That is the second-top number of new cases, which has been reported in a day anywhere across the world to date.
The highest cases were reported in Italy, with 5,322 new cases on Wednesday.
In China, the most number of cases reported in a day at the peak of the outbreak was 3,892 cases on 5th February, after which the spread rate began to decrease.
By Thursday, China did not report any new locally transmitted case for the second consecutive day, although various cases were reported from people entering China from other nations.
When the worst period of the outbreak in China got over Beijing changed the method it classified Covid-19 cases and announced extra 19,000 diagnoses from the previous month.
This means the number of new coronavirus cases per day in the nation may have been a lot higher than 3,892.
However, the steep increase in new cases in America is more worrying relative to its population.
China’s population that stands at 1.4 billion is four times the population of the U.S.A, which is 330 million.
The number of cases in the U.S. is rising as testing is being done more aggressively. However, the trend is worrying as it indicates that the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S.A. can be worse than it was ever in China, which applied draconian measures to control the spreading of the virus.
