People Terrified of Coronavirus Stock Up Food and Disinfectants in The US


More than half a dozen people are diagnosed in California, making it a hotspot of Coronavirus.

Last week, two residents of North California were diagnosed with the virus, while the source of infection remains unknown.

The residents of California now have started filling their stocks of canned food, bottled water, and disinfectant wipes in case of a period of quarantine.

The US reports first death due to the virus in the state of Washington, the man was in his 50s and was reported ‘medically high-risk’.

Two people in a nursing facility in Washington were tested positive for the virus and 50 people, including both residents and staff, started showing symptoms after that. 52 people have also shown some symptoms in Kirkland’s Life Care nursing facility.

Four people have been tested positive in Santa Clara County, which is located near San Francisco.

While in Oregon, an employee of elementary school has been diagnosed with the virus.

People in Oregon, Seattle, and Los Angeles have also started stocking up necessary supplies.

 

Even the supermarkets have now started running out of canned foods and disinfectants.

After everything, President Donald Trump has asked people, not to panic and that healthy people do not need to worry at all as they only have to go through a process and they’ll be fine.

And emergency travel restrictions were also announced on Iran, Italy, and South Korea saying that any foreign national will be banned from entering the US if they’ve visited Iran in the last 14 days.

Also, the State Department has been authorized by Trump to raise the level of travel advisory to the highest, i.e., Level Four, to the outbreak areas in Italy and South Korea.

According to the experts, washing your hands every now and then is the best way to prevent the spread of the virus.
