The more widely known incident of police brutality upon an African-American man on Tuesday have resulted a social media backlash, supported by celebrities and private users alike, crying for justice for the late 46-year-old George Floyd. Apparently what the police was trying to do was to contain his activity by mercilessly kneeling on top of his neck, despite pleas from bystanders who had filmed the incident. The video has sparked national protests, inciting many to take to the streets despite COVID concerns.
