A confused first-time flyer was caught on camera walking onto a baggage conveyor belt before falling down on her bottom believing that it will take her directly on the plane she was meant to board.
The incident was caught on camera at the new Istanbul Airport in Turkey where the passenger carefully walked onto the luggage transporter.
In hopes that the conveyor belt would transfer her to her plane, the blonde woman, who appears to be in her middle years, marched past the airlines’ staff right onto the transporter after seeing a piece of baggage pass by.
In the recording, the woman appears to be puzzled as to why there’s a suitcase, and not a human being, on the conveyor belt.
Nevertheless, she confidently steps on the transporter and walks forward to the connecting conveyor belt.
Since the conveyor belt was moving, the passenger lost her balance and ended up riding the transporter on her butt before the staff managed to turn it off.
Following the woman’s fall, the check-in staff rushed over to see if she was okay and helped her get back on her feet.
It is not clear what caused the woman to act this way and whether she was in a clear state of mind during the incident or not.
“Those type of people somehow end up on the same flight with me,” one person joked after the video went viral.
“That was hilarious! She doesn’t exactly help quell the dumb blonde stereotype,” another one wrote.
