The Coin Becomes A Savior To Soldier When He Was Shot In The Battle Field After Taking Impacts of Bullets

John Trickett was a British soldier who bravely battled in World War 1, always had a coin with him which actually sheathed him from a bullet attack. This coin is now being auctioned along with other war-remembering things of his life.

Over 100 years back, Trickett put a penny in his front pocket before going to battle on a French war zone in 1914. He was also keeping it when a German attacked him and the coin got slugged and leaving the fighter handicapped for rest of his life.

Trickett kept the coin for his whole life as it was his relationship with death and memory of his two siblings. The coin was made in 1889 and got circling in his family from years. Now they thought to auction it.

He further told, each and every person in his family is well familiar with the history of a coin,

Culson told that Trickett was only 19-years-old when he was met by a bullet and got his left side to disable with loss of left ear hearing.

He was quite young and energetic that nobody could see his under-age from first glance. He was so passionate to fight for his country. So he joined the army.

As the penny advances toward sale on March 22, militaria master Adrian Stevenson trusts the marked coin will go under the control of somebody else.

He wants it to go under the custody of someone who adores and loves the military. Many fighters put things with them to got shield from war, he further added. So this can be a possibility that he has placed this coin intentionally.

When the coin got hit by a bullet, it bounces and touches his ear. It left him hard of hearing and crippled, yet alive.

“It’s unusual to believe that, if there were no coin, his kids would not have been here in the world.”
