What comes to your mind when you think of snakes? It’s quite natural that you start getting goosebumps and butterflies in the stomach as soon as you hear about this innocent monster.
Although, it’s a fact that snakes have been portrayed in a whole new different way in sagas and folklores in a pessimistic fashion, it’s also true that snakes are immensely smart creatures as well.
They know exactly which way to wriggle through and where to lay eggs so as to protect their babies from being harmed by intruders. Well, there are myths and misconceptions aplenty that includes the famous saga where Saturn convinced Eve to have the fruit of knowledge in the form of a snake itself.
But, hopefully, the following video will appease the dread that was encompassing you in relation to snakes.
The video shows a king cobra drinking water from the hands of a wildlife officer who showed a great deal of compassion and of course courage in offering water to the most venomous snake in the world.
The snake was probably found in the Kaiga township located in southern India where the snake seemed to run away from the woods looking to quench its thirst.
As most parts of southern India remain drought-stricken during the maximum time of a year, the wildlife gets equally affected by this.
And most of the village dwellers are presuming that the scarcity of water must have compelled the 12 feet enormous snake to come out to the locality in search of water.
Although most of the villagers offer water to snakes whenever they get a glimpse of these daunting creatures.
And despite the fact that king cobra’s keep estranged from mankind and vice versa but the wildlife officer busted every myth and quenched the snake’s thirst by offering him water and for that, he deserves oodles of kudos. Doesn’t he?
