Motherly love knows no limits in humans as well as animals.
A mother would do anything in her control to protect her little one and keep it happy. In one such incident, a cat arrived at a busy hospital in Istanbul with her small kitten in its mouth.
Some pictures were captured in the emergency room of the hospital and have gone viral. The snaps were shared on Twitter by Merve Özcan and showed a mother cat with her sick kitten in the mouth while she was at a human hospital.
In one of the pictures, you can even see paramedics surrounding the poor mother cat and petting her. They gave her milk and some eatables to comfort her while her baby was being treated.
And just how loving mothers are, this mama cat did not let her baby out her sight even for a second.
Turkish people are famous for their respect and love for stray animals and they gave the cats the necessary help. The kitten is now doing well and did not require extensive treatment.
However, the doctor took the two cats to a vet to make sure the mother-child duo are doing fine.
The story has been shared by several thousand people on the Turkish social media and has been like on Reddit by more than 82K Redditors.
The heart-warming story proves how generous, caring, and loving Turskish people are towards the stray animals. In fact, many of them leave water and food for these animals on the streets.
This adorable anecdote has gained a lot of attention and love from the people and one of the Reddit users commented that the birthing cat walked to the hospital and began meowing.
The doctors there helped the mama cat and her baby. The two cats are now adopted by the doctor who took them to the vet.
