On October 16, Cleo was taken from a tent at the remote Blowholes campsite in Macleod, Victoria, where she and her family were spending the holidays.

Cleo’s disappearance then sparked a huge manhunt and sent shockwaves to the country.

On November 3, the WA Police forced their way into Kelly’s home an hour after he was arrested. The authorities then found the girl playing with toys.

Kelly was photographed barefoot with his legs chained as he was being escorted by the police from the car to a light airplane.

The aircraft flew him around 600 miles from Carnarvon to Perth’s Casuarina Prison – the jail to some of the state’s most vicious criminals.

Kelly has yet to enter a plea to the charge and will be detained in jail until his next court appearance which is scheduled in December.

According to reports, Kelly, – who posted photos on his Facebook account with a huge collection of Bratz dolls – will be held in a padded cell after being hospitalized twice for self-harming.

Police commissioner Chris Dawson told The Telegraph that the 36-year-old suspect would be subject to extra security measures ‘for obvious reasons’.
