Back in 2011, Teigen subjected then 16-year-old Courtney Stodden to a series of despicable tweets in which the star suggested the teen should kill herself.

Now, ten years later, the hateful messages have resurfaced and Chrissy is feeling the heat, whereas Bloomingdale has become the latest of her partners to cancel their deal with the model.

While the deal, which would see Teigen host a promo event, was pretty much concluded except for the final signatures, Bloomingdale tore the contract apart following the shocking news.

“They pretty much had it together but they had to cancel it,” a source reportedly told Page Six of the company’s deal with Teigen.

The move comes shortly after Macy’s, which has the same parent company as Bloomingdale, removed the model’s cookware line from their stores.

The fallout follows after Chrissy’s old tweets resurfaced and sparked fury among netizens who were outraged by the TV personality’s past harassment of Stodden.

In her 2011 tweets, Teigen told the then-teen she hated her and encouraged her to take her own life.

Following the backlash, Teigen attempted to save her skin by issuing a series of tweets claiming she was deeply sorry. Stodden, however, didn’t appear convinced by her apology.

“She apologized on Twitter but I was blocked from the apology so couldn’t really see it but a few people sent it to me. I feel if she was sincerely sorry she would have at least got in touch with me privately. She said she did but she didn’t,” they said.

On Instagram, they also wrote:

“I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter.

“All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her ‘wokeness’ is a broken record.”
