Celebrities have voiced their support for Chrissy Teigen and John Legend after the couple has revealed they had lost their baby following excessive bleeding.
As Teigen and Legend revealed in a heartbreaking Instagram post, they have lost their third child, baby Jack, following the 34-year-old model’s hospitalization.
“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” the TV personality wrote in her Instagram post.
“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”
Following the tear-jerking announcement, celebrities have rallied online to offer condolences and voice their support for the grieving couple.
“We love you guys so much and we will be here for whatever yall need. Always,” Gabrielle Union wrote.
“We’re always here for you and love you guys so much,” Kim Kardashian added.
Paris Hilton wrote: “My heart breaks for you and John. I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you and your family so much love.”
Among hundreds of other messages were also words of comfort from Hailey Bieber, Selma Blair, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Channing Tatum.
“I’m so so sorry. Thinking of you and John, praying for you guys and sending you so much love during this time,” Hailey Bieber wrote.
Meanwhile, Jesse Tyler, who has just welcomed his first child, expressed his wish to take away the couple’s heartbreak.
“I am so sorry angel momma. I am so sorry. This grief. This grief. It will hold you and the love will break through. I am so sorry,” Blair added.
Baby Jack’s death follows just days after Chrissy was rushed to the hospital after suffering heavy bleeding.
As the 34-year-old model revealed her placenta was very weak and she kept on bleeding heavily as if someone turned “a faucet on to low and leave it there.”
“I’m so excited for him, because he’s so wonderful and just the strongest little dude – so I can’t wait for him. But he’s like the strongest dude in the shi**iest house,” Chrissy said at the time.
