Trump has doubled down on his words after China has lashed out at the United States because the president dubbed coronavirus the ‘Chinese Virus.

In his controversial tweet on Monday, the POTUS wrote:
“The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!”
Responding to Trump’s words was a Beijing official who demanded that “the U.S. side correct the mistake immediately and halt its groundless accusations.”
As China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson insisted, “certain American politicians” are stigmatizing China by accusing the country of being responsible for the pandemic.
“We express strong indignation and resolute opposition to this,” Mr Geng expressed.
“The United States should mind its own business first, and then make constructive contributions to the international counter-epidemic collaboration and the maintenance of the global public health safety.”
Doubling down on his words, however, was Trump as he called the killer bug ‘Chinese Virus’ once again when he commented on New York Governor’s proposal to activate the military to build additional hospitals.
“Cuomo wants ‘all states to be treated the same.’ But all states aren’t the same. Some are being hit hard by the Chinese Virus, some are being hit practically not at all,” the president wrote on March 17.
It is believed that Trump’s provocations could be a result of China’s suggestions that coronavirus could have been brought to Wuhan by the US Army.
“It might be US army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe us an explanation,” Zhao Lijian, a Foreign Ministry spokesman, previously wrote.
