The CCP or Chinese Communist Party threatened Australia for their push for an investigation over coronavirus.
The Chinese Ambassador, Cheng Jingye dubbed the push as “dangerous” and it might enable the Chinese citizens to not use or buy Australian goods or visit the nation.
But the Australian government won’t back down for an independent inquiry with Foreign Minister Marise Payne, as she slammed the warnings of an economic hit because of the push.
Reporter Tom Connell from Sky News Australia said that all the Australia Politicians united to perform a global investigation on coronavirus, which originated from Wuhan, China.
On the other hand, China’s response to this push was taken seriously by the Ambassador and he admitted that China’s way of handling COVID-19 has not been perfect.
Cheng Jingye also responded on the matter about Australia taking sides with the US to investigate.
The Chinese Ambassador stated that siding with people in Washington will give birth to a political rampage against China.
Cheng Jingye also said that the Chinese public is disappointed and frustrated by what Australia is currently doing and the tourists from China will have second-thoughts when visiting Australian soil if the situation transforms from bad to worse.
Cheng Jingye also added that some people are unnecessarily pointing fingers at China for their issues and are trying to divert the attention.
The Ambassador also included that such an act from Australia will stop the Chinese parents from sending their children to study.
But on the other hand, China successfully won against the European leaders after they squashed all the criticism that was made against them about the coronavirus.
On Sunday, it was reported that China falsely claimed that the COVID-19 was brought in by the US Army. They tried to cover it up by suppressing the journalists and doctors who tried to warn about this outbreak.
China also declared that they did not have any evidence about COVID-19 that can be channeled from person-to-person when they already knew it could.
They also lied purposely about how bad the outbreak was and tried to cover up the deaths. Till now, China is still trying to reserve decisive information about the outbreak.
