China has rejected Donald Trump’s appeal to break away the nuclear deal and formulate a new one.
On Thursday, China has straight said no to Trump’s call to break the Iranian nuclear deal by saying it is a hard-on outcome that has to be abided by all UN parties.
Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was created between Iran and the P5+1, i.e., permanent members of the UN Security Council, the US, Russia, the UK, China and France along with European Union and Germany.
There have been instances where the US President continuously criticized the nuclear deal by stating it as defective and foolish. He also withdrew from the deal saying that it does not adhere to the objective.
On Wednesday made an appeal to other nations to break away from the deal and work together to achieve the objective. He initiated to create a new deal for a safer and peaceful world.
He made this call amid the Iran and US tensions for the killing of General Qasem Soleimani during American drone strike on Friday. Later, Iran fired 22 missiles at US military base.
Chinese Foreign Minister spokesman Gen Shuang confronted the media on Thursday said that the real cause of tensions was US withdrawal from the deal and they will have to bear the consequences.
He further added that the President must not forget the Iranian nuclear issue. The JCPOA is a hard one outcome made by UN. It is considered as a strong pillar to maintain the stability and non-proliferation routine.
Chinese ministers have said that all the parties must abide by the deal in order to ease up the tensions. They even said that China will be communicating with other involved parties to maintain peace and not pay heed to any of the requests.
