Cher Is Mocked As She Tries To Claim She Could Have PREVENTED George Floyd’s Death If She Had Been Present


Cher, public celebrity, had been labeled and mocked as a ‘white savior’ for telling her platform that she could have saved George Floyd if she had been part of the crime scene.

Remarks on the case involving Derek Chauvin, cop who allegedly killed Floyd last May through the kneeling of Floyd’s neck, has been on the rise and recently went viral.

The tweet is seen as an insult to those who have taken a stand at the scene, disregarding the trauma that the individuals have gone through since there were attempts of trying to help Floyd in the first place.point 171 | 1

A twitter user wrote in response, “I love my Cher but oof. that was a little too white savior complex for me. I know she means well and probably doesn’t understand but… honey… no,”

Another wrote that “This is significantly underplaying what witnesses who testified TRIED to do to stop his death. There have been MULTIPLE testimonies of everyone from a firefighter to an MMA fighter to a senior man who attempted to diffuse the situation. Singing songs doesn’t erase racism, Cher,”
